Recently Wampler & Souder obtained a favorable ruling from the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. Exceptions were taken to a foreclosure sale on behalf of Wampler & Souder clients. The foreclosure sale was recorded by the law firm conducting the sale as occurring at the exact same hour and minute as a bankruptcy case was filed. The foreclosure law firm argued that this probably meant that the gavel hit sometime before the recorded time. Judge Richard E. Jordan held that the sale was nonetheless invalid.
